レーシックを受けようと思ったきっかけは何ですか？

As an avid outdoors sports person, I was constantly battling my contacts and glasses while
trying to swim, bike, ski, rock climb and surf. I had first wanted to do the procedure in the USA where I am from, but found it too costly. I've been in Sapporo for a little while, and a friend suggested the Shinagawa Lasik Center as being an affordable and highly rated Lasik Center.
After touring the facility, I booked an appointment to see if I would qualify for the procedure.
The staff and doctor were very efficient and thorough in making sure that the procedure would be successful and long lasting. After the first visit I was satisfied that I would get the best treatment possible and finally, after 24 years, stop having to wear glasses or contacts to see clearly.

レーシックの感想(手術当日)

On the day of surgery I arrived and was checked once again to make sure that my eyesight had not changed. I was quickly brought into the waiting room, told about the procedure,eye drops I would need after the surgery and the process of the surgery itself. After waiting for the anaesthetic eye drops to take effect I was brought in to the first operating room. The doctors and nueses immediately made me at ease and then began. The procedure took about 15 minutes to correct my eyesight and was painless.
I then rested my eyes for about 30 minutes. The doctor then checked to see if the procedure was successful. My eyesight was improved but slightly blurry and my eyes felt itchy, however I was able to go to Sapporo Station and walk home without issue. Within five hours of the
operation, my eyes continued to improve and feel good.

レーシックの感想(手術翌日)

The next day, through my eyes felt delicate, I could see quite well and could control the 'dry eye' feel with the drops given to me by the Shinagawa Clinic. I used sunglasses while outside and special glasses until my appointment. At the Clinic I was again checked for vision and to see how my eyes were healing. Everything was fine and my vision was as good as with glasses.
I was able to drive the next day without problem and did not experience much issue with halos around lights.

レーシックを受けてよかったと思われることはなんですか？

I wish I had done this operation much early in my life. Living without glasses is just easier. Without contacts to deal with or glasses to worry about my life has improved in small ways that have added up to a very big change.
I can now do so many activities without worrying about losing my sight.
Getting Lasik has been a great choice.

これからレーシックを受けられる方へアドバイスをお願いします。

Firstly, I think that people should consult with a eye doctor to make sure that they are good candidates for Lasik.
Calculating what I have spent on glasses,contacts and contact solutions,I have far out spent the expense of Lasik, not to mention the hassle of dealing with corrective lenses.
